My training approach is holistic and I believe that for changes in your health, fitness and wellbeing to be long term and sustainable they have to incorporate your mind, body and nutrition.

Each of these  areas should all be cared for equally and with the balance of all three you will make changes that will last a life time.

I have worked extensively with men and women in their 40's and 50's and through my understanding of nutrition and the menopause, incorporating the benefits of yoga and strength training, I have helped many men and women understand the changes both hormonally and emotionally and through my holistic approach I have transformed their experience of the menopause, helping them gain back control of their bodies and minds.

Fitness and wellbeing will always be a major part of my life, and I am very fortunate to have now been in the industry for over 10 years! Through my experience I have discovered that the foundation of sustainable health starts in the mind, helped by the correct nutrition to balance your hormones and establishing positive exercise habits.

I have competed professionally and I have a comprehensive understanding of building progressive programmes to build strength and lean muscle mass, to help to stimulate the metabolism and prevent osteoporosis as we age.

I have practiced meditation for many years and it is a fundamental part of my health and wellbeing, helping to lower anxiety and cortisol levels, enabling me to have clarity and creativity in my thoughts and to lower my cortisol levels improving my immune system and reducing cortisol levels. Lowering cortisol levels also helps with weight loss, improves sleep and increases energy by allowing your cells to effectively ustilise the energy you are consuming and the body is naturally producing.

I have been working in the fitness industry for nearly two decades, and I have vast experience in all aspects of health and fitness and how to apply this to your lifestyle. I am a rehabilitation specialist, specialising in knee, shoulder and hip injuries. I have also worked extensively with clients experiencing long covid, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, multiple sclerosis and numerous other ailments. I have experience  working with people from a diversity of backgrounds, which enables me to be adaptative in my programming. I am innovative as well as inclusive and always keep sessions challenging, yet fun.  All my current clients refer to me as a 'Nice Sargant Major', as I will never accept 'NO' for an answer but am always willing to adapt.

I feel extremely fortunate to have worked for so many years in an industry that I'm passionate about. I thrive on helping my clients progress, building their confidence and enabling them to achieve results that they never initially thought were possible.

I have over 30 years boxing experience as an amateur boxer, sparring partner and boxing coach. This has always been a passion of mine and I love to incorporate this high energy style of training into your workouts.  I also regularly partake in calisthenics, which inspires me not only with my own exercise routines but the way I program clients sessions too.
